Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use carefully before accessing or using this website. By submitting an order or using any part of the Auto Marine Check website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or submit an order.
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Auto Marine Check.
General
The website Auto Marine Check (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Auto Marine Check (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site or its services at any time, including content, features, access requirements, or availability, without notice.
By accepting these Terms, Auto Marine Check grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use our services strictly in accordance with these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
Auto Marine Check reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage users to review this page regularly.
Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Personal Use Agreement
By purchasing a report or package from Auto Marine Check, you agree to the following:
- You will be charged a one-time fee based on your selected purchase option, plus any applicable taxes.
- A valid Hull Identification Number (HIN) is required to generate a Boat History Report.
- Once a HIN is confirmed and submitted, a report will be generated for that specific HIN.
- It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of the HIN before submission. Reports generated from incorrect HINs are not eligible for replacement or complimentary credits.
- Reports purchased under a personal-use package are available for viewing for 60 days from the date of issuance.
- Re-running a report instead of viewing it from your account will consume an additional report credit.
Commercial Use Restrictions
Personal-use packages are intended strictly for individual, non-commercial use. Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
- Use by boat dealers, brokers, inspectors, or marine businesses
- Resale or redistribution of reports
- Use for business research or profit-driven purposes
Commercial use without an approved commercial agreement is prohibited and may result in account termination, voided access, and additional charges.
Users engaging in commercial activity must comply with both these Terms and any applicable Commercial User Terms and Conditions.
Refund Policy
Auto Marine Check does not guarantee complete historical data for every vessel. Refund requests may be considered under the following conditions:
- The request is made within 15 days of the purchase date
- All required refund procedures are completed
Refunds may take up to five (5) business days to process once approved.
Intellectual Property & Copyright
All content on the Auto Marine Check website—including logos, text, graphics, data compilations, software, images, and icons—is the exclusive property of Auto Marine Check or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.
Confidential Information
Both parties acknowledge that confidential information may be shared during the use of Auto Marine Check services. Each party agrees to protect such confidential information and not disclose it without written consent, using reasonable safeguards equal to those used to protect their own confidential information.
Limitation of Liability
All services and reports are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Auto Marine Check shall not be liable for inaccuracies, omissions, or decisions made based on report information.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Acceptance of Terms
By visiting or using the Auto Marine Check website or submitting an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Auto Marine Check.
